Argentinean agronomist  with european roots, he studied viticulture and enology in Montpellier, Bordeaux and Lisbon. Then, he had the chance to work in different wine regions throughout the world, such as Saint-Emilion, Margaret River (Western Australia), Alto Adige (Italy), Mendoza and Germany.

In 2013, he started 40/40 in Ugarteche/Mendoza (Lujan de Cuyo), on the family estate Finca La Sofia.

 

Since 2015 he makes one vintage in Mendoza with 40/40, the other in Alto-Aldige (Italy) at Alois Lageder (biodynamic winery).
